what about strings? I heard you should wipe them with a cloth after playing cause dirt and stuff off your fingers will build up faster if you don't wipe them.

Also, how often should you change strings?

yes, wipe your strings, the oils and acids on your skin will wear away the finish on the strings.
change them whenever they start to look or play like ass. I change mine once a month or so,. i know people who change strings once a week.

i just wait till they sound kind of dead and they show wear on the to p2 frets.

yea my low E string sounds like a rubber band off a tissue box on my old beater guitar... I havent put strings on that thing since January :/

yeah, they're martins
they certainly dont sound new, but they dont sound bad enough to buy new ones

how do you doubt an opinion
its rediculous to buy new strings every month.. unless you play shows that often, but most people on here dont do that
