i dont think i'll be able to buy one of those guitars very soon...not if my parents wont help me...

You should check ebay out. They have d-28 for less then half that price

yeah.. my buddy bought a taylor off e-bay.. he loves it. i guess it is a gamble though.

This is very general, but I was thinking about spoiling myself and buying a top notch guitar this summer. I was wondering what different Martins and Taylors I should try out. I was thinking the 6, 7, 8, and 914ce ones from Taylor and the h-28, hd-28(v), and hd-35, etc...Anyone own and want to share comments?

Larrivees are incredible. Check out the 10 series and the vine series.

are amazing. Also, not listed on the site are Hawaiian Koa and Walnut variations of the models.

I love Larri's too, but they aren't hand made they are factory made. They're my favorite big maker and it's my opinion that you get more for your money if you go with them instead of Martin/Taylor.
