The Battle: which songs are better wih DMB vs. D&T???

wtwe, d+t just love the simplicity it brings
crush-d+t love tim on that
minerets-d+t
bartendar-d+t
DDTW-the band
bartendar--->DDTW-d+t
ants marching-band
billies- hmmmm hard to say tim adds a lot, but so does boyd, and carter adds a lot as well... i guess with billies you need a case by case study
warehouse-band, passion intro is good though
granny-band
two step-the band minus butch

warehouse is hard to say, tim adds A LOT to it, but so does the band, id say d+t over 2000 or later full bands, and full band pre 1998 over d+t.

Better D&T

-Bartender: Darker, edgier, more middle eastern
-Warehouse: More haunting and thought provoking with the passion ntro and tim's drone fills
-Seek Up: Quieter, more subdued, less chaotic and more emotionally involving.
-Minarets: Tim's influences were it's raison d'etre, thus it sounds better with his middle eastern guitar fills.
-Dancing Nancies: Tim has to be there to give the song its full latin flavor and grove. Stefan does a decent job of it, but tims fills complete the song's grooviness.

OSW, Bartender (No ---> DDTW), Crush, Billies, #41 is supposed to be a mellow tune I think and D&T's version is better, and Warehouse, probably more, but I'm tired.

Now that's a toss up with minarets cause WITH the band(98'ish?) dave busted out the scat intro, but with d+t they busted out that scat outro(lc).....

Warehouse-D&T passion intro>stop time, 96 did Louie Louie
Two Step-the band, especially in the really old days with Peter Greiser He did a real cool salsa jam
Ants-D&T, don't like it with the band at all, Timmy makes the song
Halloween-the band
Lie in Our Graves-D&T
The Stone-this is a close one, Leroi on the Barry Sax is tough to beat, but D&T has the I can't help falling in love outro so I gotta go D&T

DDTW-DMB hands down, other instruments make the song

i think DDTW D+T is sweet but than again i heard that version befor i heard the dmb version so i am a little biased
