yea i talked to my friend who went to bonnaroo last year and he said when i first arrived he thought mtv was taking over cuz he said their name was everywhere, on stages, on signs n everything. but he talked to these crew workers who were chilling out during a break and they were bbq'n n drinking n shit and they told him that mtv was just trying to promote their presence and trying to get people to check out maroon 5 n some other bands that kinda didn fit (although i havent really heard any maroon 5 material so i wouldnt know) and that mtv was in no way in charge, so it sounds like no worries :)
