It was next-to new when I bought it, and I watched it in the store as the price kept falling until I said "yoink" aloud, and took it from the wall and said..."i guess  for $900" and I walked out a happier man :D
im thinking about buying one
how much are they regular store price?

Here's what I've got.....a Taylor 314. Bought it in June of 2000 for $599 brand new out of the box at Guitar Center. They go for about $1000 now. I love it.

I learned guitar with a $150 starter kit fender pak. Its a real piece of shit, but kind of fun to keep out, take around, and not worry about anything happening to it.

I am proud to own a '00 Gibson Chet. Bought for around $1300---if I remember correctly. Great guitar. Love the playability...action is perfect.

I am also proud (and this is my favorite) to own a Taylor 914C. Bought this 2 years ago for 3 grand out the door. Beside being a beautiful guitar, the tone is incredible. Again, very comfortable to play.

I got a Taylor acoustic bass AB2 last year. Haven't mastered it yet, but its a lot of fun to play and looks amazing. I replaced the strings with elixir and not too impressed with the sound. I'll be switching next time around.

I also got a Martin Backpacker for around $125. Not the most comfortable guitar and it sounds dead, but great for travel and useful when you are desperate to jam. The action came very high and needs to be adjusted. I've just been lazy.
Do what you will, always
Walk where you like, your steps
Do as you please, I'll back you up.
