What segues do you like to play?

So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

I was thinking "that would be kick ass full band!" then i thought..."wait, that would butcher the shit out of LIOG."

haha, but if they WERE to tease LIOG, i think they should do that.

When you're in a bad mood:

Minarets --> Dreamed I Killed God ---> Big Eyed Fish --> Spoon

You can go in circles with that thing for hours on end, and it'll just keep on flowing.

This one might be a little weird, but I like to play it. I do Gravedigger and when I get into it I start to play a little "harder" , if you know what I mean, and when I hit the E chord, I go into the Jimi Thing jam and finish it out with a Jimi Thing chorus and then verse.

Sometimes I'll slow the WWYS jam down and lead it into Crash. It's not the smoothest but it's all fun in the end.

Gotta elaborate a little bit on this! Just did a badass version! DDTW...>Crush...>DDTW!

You play DDTW until the "All i can say..." Bm! Start Crush there cause it's in Bm. Play Cursh all the way through and while jamming at the end go into the DDTW "And I live w/ my..." part and finish that song. Simply amazing it is!

I call this the "Great Segue"

WWYS => SMTS => ASTB => TM => TB

I play it all with high energy, and just meld them all together so it's like one song, the energy and everything flows smoothly. I have to take a break afterwards, though, mainly for my voice for sinigng it so powerful for so long.

my three favorite...
3. jimi into what will become of me into liog.
2. #34 tease into warehouse.
1. #41 into granny. the last chord of the #41 outro blends nicely with the first of granny. and if you play the last chord like he does on listener supported (as an arpeggio), you can calm it down nicely to break right in granny.

thats my two, er, three cents... but creativity can lead to any number of segues.

i like to do Jimi>what will become of me>pnp> either liog or rapunzel

its pretty sweet to have the high energy of jimi then go down low and soft with what will become and pnp and then pick it back up with the liog

Watchtower...>Halloween...>Watchtower is a given!

Satellite...>Warehouse (played in trasition with Satellite fretting and Warehouse strumming. Kinda like the stop time intro!)

Crush...>WWBOM...>PNP...>Billies...>Grey Street! (Fun!)

PNP...>LIOG...>Ants

WWYS...>Halloween (Transition from WWYS 355xxx into Halloween chorus)

BOWA...>LIOG...>Ants

I had fun today seeing what songs could be molded together! I had a good time too! :P
