Forget about the reasons and the treasons we are seeking
Forget about the notion that our emotions can be swept away, kept at bay
Forget about being guilty, we are innocent instead
For soon we will all find our lives swept away

He just left Charlotte and I was checking the setlist for that show and it said that Dave got a frog in his throat, meaning a sore throat or something but that is didn't let that stop him. Now he will get Sunday off and I really hope that throat thingy doesn't hurt the show. What do you guys think? Anyone experienced that a some show?
I'll be at the Raleigh show too. chillin on the lawn
in 2002 the MSG shows got post poned cause he came down with larangitis (spelling?)...i'm sure he will be fine tho.
have fun.

at worst dave will just become bob dylan, i pray that doesnt happen though
i was listening to the gorge cd's my friend let me borrow it. and i noticed on Everyday when it goes all you need is love and the love is really high, he would just sing "all you need is..." and let the audiance sing that part every time. except one time he did this thing where he just repeated love over and over again. but it made me think of this thread again, just not hitting the high notes and stuff like that....
if anything though, "yelling" the high notes is a lot harder to do that falsetto because its basically the top of your range, while falsetto anyone can do, but dave can do it well
anytime an artist is on a tour like this for so many years in a row, your voice is bound to hurt
he'll be fine
drinking and smoking hurts your larynx, which is what allows you to make sounds from your mouth. thats why dave's voice is getting deeper and rougher. this also happened to Harry Chappin when he first started singing had a nice smooth sweet voice by the end of the career his voice was real rough.
Yeah, I've noticed that Dave will sing low instead of falsetto a lot of times nowadays, for instance on Jimi Thing, the "lately I've been feeling low..." I hope he takes it easy on the voice so his throat doesn't explode or anything.
