No, watch either LS or CP very carefully and you will see he adds the F# bass note to the D chord.

I don't feel like putting it in right now.. but i've never seen him do that.. if he does, kanter therefor has it tabbed out wrong..

I just don't see why he would have his thumb there other than to play the F#. It sounds good that way; I do it myself.

I just watched Listener Supported and he does have his thumb there, but it seems as if he is only play a D Chord with his thumb pulled way around the neck.. i don't hear or see him playing the F# bass note..dunno
