Just to clairify, the rugs aren't a comfort issue.. they make the stage have better acoustics.. it usually makes the sound travle outward instead of into the floor of the stage..elijah77jc wrote:most bands while playing live have something like that to stand on, sometimes they use mats or little rugs but they are there just to make them more comfortable.
it may seem dumb but if you stand in one place for 2-3 hours every night the difference between the hard floor and a padded mat is VERY noticable.
