*******Official Tim Reynolds Parts Thread******** (Nancies)

So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

i-am-me wrote:#41 fill

Here's the more accurate riff i showed Fret. very simple, very easy, but sounds good to back up dave's part in that specific part.

Code: Select all

--5--7p5--5--3-3--------------

--5--7p5-5-3-3h5p3-2-2/3------
Although that sounds right, from my 5-5-03 dvd. Tim is playing up on G and D... Can't see it right ghouth.

Hey I was wondering if anyone had any ideas about what Tim does for the main riff in Rapunzel on D&T shows? I've got an mp3 if anyone needs it ;)

I think he plays more or less what is in the BTCS tab book. At least for the main riff, that is.
Forget about the reasons and the treasons we are seeking
Forget about the notion that our emotions can be swept away, kept at bay
Forget about being guilty, we are innocent instead
For soon we will all find our lives swept away

yea. i think it just sounds different because of the emphasis he puts on different notes...and that he's on an electric. but for the most part, i think ts the same.

Well I can play the BTCS version of Tim's parts, though he plays something completely different on D&T shows. Check this out:
