so i listened to LWS again last night, but this time from start to finish. I've realized 2 things:

1. I finally understand why people love this version of Captain so much, gave me chills.
2. I don't understand what's so special about Monkey Man.

Oh man I think if that song was completed it would have been THEE best dmb tune.

That opening riff always makes my head nod. It has some great jamming in it, that I feel were intended to have solo's over. If Dave got to re-sing it and have the guitar sound (quality) changed a bit...this song could have went places.

I agree. That's actually probably one of my favorites from the LWSessions. God that album is amazing. That whole album has such a cool vibe to it... almost an eerie feeling to it.

Up and Down, Inside out
Outside in some you lose some
You win for us all
Up and down we go
Bad times sheild us all once or twice
On this Sweet up and Down

i love those lyrics

JTR is a masterpiece. It embodies everything that music should be.

The LWS showcases each of the band members' talents unlike Stand Up. Although, I'm not a Stand Up hater. Roi rips it up, carter is amazing as always, Stefan has some really nice bass lines, i think Boyd did some of his finest work, and Dave's vocals were great. The LWS Raven is one of Dave's finest vocal pieces.
