Summer '06 Songs Thread

So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

I just have one question... in the Kill The King chorus, which of the chords is played for two measures?
The C
First and last chord, right?

Ok, so here I've tried to do an easier way to play The Idea of You.
Use capo on 5 and have fun.
Some of the parts aren't there, but they're very easy to figure out once you have the base chords and stuff.

Code: Select all

Intro & Verse
Ok, the intro is exactly like this, for the verse you just play it backwards. The C-shaped chord first and then the rundown stuff. Listen and you'll understand it better.

A----------------------------|--3--0---3------|
E----------------------------|--x--x---x------|
C--5---0--2---4---/5--5------|--4--4---5------|
G--3---5--x---x----x--x------|--5--5---3------|
D--0---2--3---5---/7--7------|--x--x---x------|
A--x---x---------------------|----------------|

Pre-Chorus

A----0------|
E--5-3-1-1--|
C--2-x-0-0--|
G--3-3-3-0--|
D--x-x-x-x--|
A-----------|

Chorus:

A----------------------|
E--5-----3----5---5----|
C--0-----0----0---2----|
G--2-----0----2---3----|
D--3-----2----x---x----|
A----------------------|
