Can someone tab this?

So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

Can someone tab this?

Post by pantala »

I believe the jam part of American Baby solo is different than what is tabbed above. I am not talented enough to decipher it though.

Could some kind soul tab it? I think this sound really good like this.....

Here's my tab for the whole song. Just listen to the song for strumming. By the way, the riff is not how Dave plays it, but the right notes nontheless.

Code: Select all

Code:

Verse/Chorus/End Jam:
E:---------------------------------------
B:---------------------------------------
G:-----4-----4--------7----------6-----
D:---------------------------------------
A:-----2-----2--------5----------4------
E:-----3-----3--------7----------5------
(Hit the first choed twice, then either pick out the next two chords, or strum them twice, there's a lot of room for variation)

Riff:
E:--------------------------------------------------------------
B:--------------------------------------------------------------
G:------------------2---------------4----------------6--7p6---6
D:-----------4--------------2------------------4---------------
A:----5-----------------------------------5---------------------
E:---------------------------------------------------------------
(Play twice, and on the 2nd time, slide from 7 to 9 on the G string

isn't the first note in the transition the open D string?

that's what Dave normally plays
