quick question regarding the site

I missed a few weeks of the boards prior to the holiday season, and when I came back, many of the people that were posting had a santa claus hat on their avatar. Was that something that each person did individually or did people have one dude put hats on all the pictures? I've been wondering that for a while.

it was kinda either way. those who didnt want to do it themselves posted a picture in a thread and someone was usually kind enough to take care of it for them
