Angel tab

So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

Angel tab

Post by coyoteguy »

Ok, so I thought about learning the song Angel awhile back but never followed through on it. I would like to actually learn it this time but the tab on here (I am sure someone is the past has done this) doesn't sound close to me, no offense to anyone. If any of you guys can play this song, please pass along the way you play it cause I would like to pick it up. Thanks

Wow I'm not sure if that's how Dave plays it but that sounds great. Adds that little extra kick that seems to be there on the album version.

Actually on second glance I was subconsciously doing a hammer on the low E from the 7 to the 9 before the 776 part.

I play it the way thats on the site...but Instead of playing the normal E chord that the tab says I usually play this.

Code: Select all

----
----
----
--6-
--7-
--7-
Thats sounds closer to me although a little bit of bass is lost playing it that way.

edit: I didnt read the previous posts but the E chord I have shown is the same as the alternate tab shown above.
