A lot of people seem to be like that. But you really can't compare U2 and DMB. They have two totally different styles. So obviously if you put that same poll on another site, then you might get a completely different outcome. Also, I have found that most people that say they hate DMB have never really heard their stuff. They think all of their music is from Busted Stuff on. Now those are good albums, but their best stuff is before that. Also people think that if you play electric guitar, you are automatically god. Which is ridiculous (sp?) because you can play almost anything on a distorted electric and make it sound good. An acoustic takes talent.

haha, I just noticed that the linked thread/poll is from 2003. Which actually, IMHO DMB has gone downhill since then, but just kind of funny.

U2 has been around longer and more in two continents so they have established a bigger fanbase. that doesnt mean anything in regards to how good they are. personally, id rather listen to DMB any day of the week, but other people wouldnt. fuck everyone
