Pat's strum hand magik

So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

Oh jeez, you're right. I just assumed we were talking about strumming - my bad. By yes, when using a pick and playing a fast lick or something of the sort, your pinky is anchored. In fingerstyle playing, nothing is anchored. As cruz said, it's a bad habit.

Ya know Pat, I've been gettin' positive feedback from a bunch of the other guys on some of my recordings, but I'm curious as to what you think, being the recording nazi you are. :thumbsup:

hmm well i will be working on that one then, luckily the main time i anchor is doing just those quick licks u mentioned ( i guess it is to ensure quick recovery after ever pick) thanks for the help
