sax breakdown

Topics about musical instruments other than guitar should go here. There's bound to be a Carter, LeRoi, or Yo-Yo Ma out there.

what the fuck are you talking about?

ABCDEFG is the A-Aeolian scale,

just starting on the 6th note of a c-major scale. so it is in the key of c, there is no sharp anywhere.

If I had any reeds right now, I would learn it by ear really quick. But alas, all of my plastic and wood reeds choked not too long ago.

Well... synthetic is the official name, but they ARE plastic.

Yes. They sound strange. Wood is better. I just have them for when my wooden reeds die completely. Since I'm out of school for the summer, I don't have easy access to reeds.... So... I'm out.

My theatre life is really busy right now, don't have the time to drive nearly two hours to Jonesboro to buy any. I'll go on a day off this week.

Well... 3,000 people. But we don't have anything here. It's not so much the population, it's the location and the city's economy.
