fool to think acoustic

anyone here know how to play fool to think in chords (especially the chorus)?

i play the verse part on an acoustic similar to the electric only i hit the 2 bass notes then strum the chord. for the chorus i think it sounds rather silly playing the electric way on an acoustic, so i swtich it up a little and strum

if im not mistaken the chorus is just d bm and g but its been a while.
