Alternative to Shure SM58's

Post by isaac »

hey there...was wondering if anyone had any suggestions outside of the standard SM58's? or should i just save up the money to snag one of them?

was wondering because a local guitar store had a deal going for a brand new SHS OM 500's along with a boom mic stand, cables, and clip for 100 bucks, which would normally be the price of a 58, but they didn't have a 58 in the store for me to compare it to and i haven't had much chance to try one out. what do ya'll think?

I bought a Beta 58A, it's absolutely amazing.
You should look into it.
