Yet another subjective reason.
no not really, see the taylor less than $1000 line is as follows...

the Big Baby... dont say thats a great guitar...

the 110, wich ill admit is a good guitar for its price, nothin wrong with it

and the 210... " " " " "

and with martin on the other hand...

not including the X series cause the taylors are woods, so well use the woods...

theres the d-15, damn fine guitar

the DM-another good guitar

the 000M-never played one myself, but i hear they are good

the 00015-another good one

DR-never played one but still hear they are good

000-1 " " " "

D-16GT- also a good guitar.

so there you go, taylor has 2 good guitars under $1000, and martin has 7 good ones. martin will be able to give you more range if your on a budget.

i agree, but just because you explained it doesnt make it un-subjective!

if you like real wood and not wood carbonate laminate then they aren't good.

i'm sure the sound is fine.
