Taylor 110?

So for those of you who have played the 110, what would you compare the tone to? Like a step below the 310? Does it sound better than the low-end Martins? I played a Martin DXK2, made of koa wood, and I kind of liked the sound of that, but I think it needed more bass.

I have yet to play one, but from what I see/read, it looks so awesome for the price under a grand...
I have a page write up in a guitar mag I got yesterday...read it in school today
