Satriani is the consummate show man.

If you ever get the opporutnity to see him live - seize it. You will be mesmerized by what he does....

Satriani also taught the guy from the Counting Crows (dunno his name).

and that guy Michaelangelo si awesome.

Fastest guitar players goes to Shawn (Sean?) Lane, though.. that guy is unbelievably fast..

ive heard of shawn lane i think... idk how anyone could play faster than Michael Angelo does on "Yngwie Cant Touch This"... the only way you can follow it is if you listen for the pick attack. what are some good shawn lane songs to dload?

That Micheal Angelo dude was at the local music center in my town today. I kin of forgot about it and didnt go though

. One of my friends went and he said it was pretty crazy and that his pants were really tight...

I don't really listen to any Shawn Lane... I have heard his stuff a few times, but he becomes almost overwhelming... difficult to listen to because it is ONLY speed.. you can be as fast a soloist as you want ,but if the solo doesn't sound nice, it's not going to be anything ehtat enjoyable to listen to.

The sickest thing Michaelangelo does is play his version of the double necked guitar... no pickin involved, it's all hammer ons (thus very, very heavy distortion) but there is a left handed neck and a right handed neck.. and he solos with both hands at the same time.. download his video...
