What are the best north eastern venues? I heard Alpine Valley Wisconsin so far.
I am looking at putting together a 4-5 show 1-2 week tour next summer with some friends and fellow DMB fans. I live near Toronto so we would be looking at a NY state, ohio, Michigan, (maybe pensylvania) sweep perhaps. I am assuming there will be a tour. Does anyone have any experiences they can share with me or advice on putting something like this together. I am looking at renting a Motor Home (RV) that will sleep aprox 4-6 people, and just go from show-show.
Any details or advice would be great.

That is a sweet idea DS. I was actually discussing a similar trip with some of my friends, but we were thinking about driving out to next year's Gorge shows. If anything, it will be a ton of fun for you and your friends. Good luck...
Could we please at least attempt to post in the correct forums? This has absolutely nothing to do with how Dave plays guitar. I normally just move without saying anything, but it's been getting worse and worse lately...
Alpine Valley is the the best. I've seen Dave shows in most venues in the midwest and Alpine is by far the best. From what I hear, it's second only to the Gorge. However, I wouldn't call WI a part of the Northwest.

are u being sarcastic? cause the 3 years ive seen dave at the meadows its been a riot house
he was being sarcastic.. but i've been there for 4 shows and didn't notice a thing.
i mean im sure the fans are great but i remember a couple of years ago there was a riot, and this year there was a bunch of fights that the cops had to stop with tear gas and stuff, cars were being broken into, and the lots were just crazy...it was fun tho dont get me wrong
