It's the same chord. The third fret on the sixth string just drones the open third string.

I hate that 57775 chord but usually barre with index and fret the 7's with 2,3, and 4.

it just baffles me that people who would call themselves musicians would bitch about certain aspects of music, especially something that actually IS sound. maybe you could complain about strings wearing down to fast, but complaining about chords just seems weird

I agree...I can see complaining the chord is hard, but not that you hate the chord..all chords rock..
