The Other "Girlfriend"

I was just wondering if anyone with a girl/boyfriend has had trouble with them getting mad AT your guitar? My girlfriend calls my guitar "The Bitch" or "Your Other Girlfriend". Anyone else having similar problems?

Yup, my girlfriend tells me all the time "You spend more time with that THING than you do with me!" I've learned from experience that if you buy her something or take her out she tends to be much more understanding about my guitar playing. hahaha

Play her something along the lines of "Your Body is a Wonderland"! The ladies love it! Maybe she'll fall in love with the guitar side of you more if you play that!

I have had 1 g/f, and she hated my singing voice. I wrote a song, but forgot the bridge, about her. So, I really never played for her.

she refers to it as "my baby" but she plays also, and loves dave, so doesnt get too upset over it
