these were all recorded live one afternoon last dec in my apt bedroom. the vocal is run through an AT4033 mic to a dbx 386 mic pre, then to an allen & heath 16 channel mixwizard board. The acoustic (taylor) is run direct to the board from an onboard fishman pickup. the electric's amp (fender) is close miked with a sure beta 57 through the 386 as well, then to the board. each channel was recorded on an alesis hd24. during mixdown the channels were compressed using a dbx 1046 and DDP, and i added a lexicon mpx1 reverb with some onboard delays from the mixer. the final mix was recorded on an alesis masterlink ml-9600.

thanks for the reply!

Well thats the reason it sounded so nice. I wasnt going to believe you if you were to say that is was all done with cool edit and a computer mic.
That has to be over $3000 of equipment. Im guessing you are planning on doing something big. :) I will have to go back and listen to more of them now.

First thing I noticed was that you have a nice voice and seem to have it under control pretty well. The music was great also. The time signatures were consistant and it felt like the music fit the words of the song well. Looks like you got a great thing going. Keep up the good work =)
