Trippin Billies, I hated everything my brother did or like when I was 10 or 11 so I hated DMB. My brother was a DMB addict, and he got a guitar for his birthday. I wanted to learn how to play also and so my brother started to teach me trippin billies on the guitar and he let me hear the real version and I was hooked
The most beautiful little instrumental piece I know of. Makes me want to learn all those instruments so I can play it on my own.
STOP STEALING LIZ! THAT'S HORRIBLE!
PNP isn't an instrumental technically
I got hooked, then dropped it for a while, but came back when i started playing guitar seriously cause i was always fasinated(sp for sure) with dave's guitar playing.. i learned ants, was stuck then
Shows Been to: 7-17-02, 12-15-03, 7-20-04, 7-5/6-05
Actually, it was "I Did It" for me. I heard it a lot on the radio and thought it was really cool, so I went out and bought Everyday. Then I bought all of the other CD's and realized what I had been missing. Now I don't listen to Everyday at all hardly.
When Jesus Christ was nailed to his tree
Said "oh, Daddy-o I can see how it all soon will be
I came to shed a little light on this darkening scene
Instead I fear I spill the blood of my children all around"
correction: the CD's name is Crash. the song's name is crash into me. ust letting ya know. haha.
and to whoever said it....you got free tickets and you didn't even really like dmb??? how did that happen?
yeah in '99 my buddy had started listening to them...and it was during the summer so it was my plan to just go drink and have fun at a concert...but to my surprise the music pretty much knocked my socks off...it was an awesome way to really learn about a band...i can't make judgement on bands now till i see them live.....i guess that's how it should be though

i like I Did It
you guys might be being sarcastic (i can't really tell..heheh), but i really enjoy the everyday album. i think it's really different and i'm glad they "did it" (no pun intended). it annoys me so much when people are like, "i love anything by dave...except for the everyday album, it sucks!". so close-minded. it's obnoxious.

Yeah, I'm not sayin I hate Everyday, I mean it's what got me interested in Dave, and actually one of my favorite songs still is "The Space Between", I think it's a beautiful song. And yeah, it's good that they did something different, but still, their older stuff is the best, and then Busted Stuff kind of reflected that older style again too. So therefore, Everyday doesn't "suck", everything else is just better in my opinion . There is no bad DMB music!

that has become my way of judging how good a band is... i became a moe. fan afetr seeing them play live at summerfest, and i didnt even know who they were until after the show- same thing at bonnaroo, i saw a million bands i had never heard of that i listen to all the time now.
Everyday is good, i like angel, fool to think and what you are a lot... just not nearly as good as the other albums
The album version of Two Step is what kept me listening to dmb... once i started getting live shows the Two Step from 3-14-99 started my bootleg addiction
