I just noticed something that was a little funny about the Stp song "Lady Picture Show". The chords for the verse are exactly the same at "Today" by the smashing pumpkins. I'm probably too stoned to check and see which one came out first......but i'll try :cry:
I know some songs will share the same chords but this is almost exactly the same.

ok, i'm back. Siamese Dream was released in 1993 and that Sha-gri -lina, or whatever that albums called was released in 1996. SOOooo, technically the pumpkins wrote the riff before they did.

"Lady Picture Show" wasn't on Shangri-La-De-Da, it was on Tiny Music... which was indeed released in '96.

Alright, so it was on Tiny Music. Which was still released in 96' and Siamese Dream was released in 93'. My point was that i think they stole the riff. They didn't sample the riff, they stole it! Listen to the songs, there're just a little too similar(sp?).
