checkin in, giving thanks

I read what you guys write more than I show by my responses. this means that the questions i do have are usually already asked and answered wonderfully. I have been playing ten months. proudest moment; I played warehouse so good that my davehead sister thought I had luther turned up too loud. Its the music and the message. without all of your help I wouldnt be playing like I am. Thanks yall, from the askers to the answerers. trippin billies came in time as promised. It feels so good. help- dave style muting. its different than jack johnsons for sure but how? for instance, the slight mute made in jimi thing on the beginning, du-um dat du-um. there is a mute if you listen close. help? thanks again.

I believe you're talking about inbetween the two 9-11 hammers.. he just quickly mutes the strings and then goes on playing..
