Optimizing SHNF download speeds

Hey guys I am trying to download my first shn file as we speak and its not going to well. I have a cable modem buy my speed is only 4 so if anyone knows how I might be able to amp this up a little please let me know. Thanks in advance

Yeah, If it's ants.. It's bound to be slow...

Bit Torrent really depends on how many seeds there are.

It probably has nothing to do with your cable modem.

I was downloading from sharingthegroove.com and it eventually got so slow that I said screw it Ill just get the show BandPed whenever I can. By the way its the 9-20-03 show. I know its early and that is why I am not asking for it right now I am just putting the word out there that I would like it if anyone has time to get to it after the two week waiting period.

Shn-compressed wav,(about 2/3 smaller than wavs)..Also Lossless

Mp3---Compressed Wav--Mp3s are lossy, which means they lose quality when compressed. Mp3s are more convenient since they are so small...But don't always have the best sound quality.

So you were obviously using BitTorrent. Actually, this is pretty late for this year's tour. The 2 week rule has in essence been abolished, as most shows have been up within 2 days of the show; bit torrents have limited life. But the more likely possibility is that you had the BitTorrent ports blocked by a software or hardware firewall, which restricts your download immensely.
