Rookie Poster Looking for Help

Nothing to do with DMB ... but i was wondering if somebody could teach me how to quote on the boards. haha yeh i know pretty dumb but everytime i try to do it it doesn't come up as the yellow box, it simply just says Quote before and after.

you might also want the section on how to post in the correct forum, with the sub-section of when to PM, and Random threads, (i.e. random post, random picture, random link, etc.)

i realize it's not the right forum ... you'll just have to forgive me. And I'm not used to all the PM thing and stuff like that yet ... like i said i just like reading everybody's posts and maybe chiming in every once in a while

Just press the quote button on the top right hand of the post you want to qoute.

Just press the quote button on the top right hand of the post you want to qoute.[/quote]

Thanks, this is what I usually do, but it always shows up typed out, not in the yellow box. Oh well, not a big deal ... enough wasting everybody's time. Thanks though

It's something to do with your coding on your profile

Go to your profile and the one about BBCode, make sure is ON. That should work.
