I used to think that Dave wrote WAYG about his twin daughters. So there was one time where I played that song for my whole family and introduced it that way. From then on, even after I found out that it wasn't, My mom fell in love with the song ann always demands that I play "The twins song" for her.

It annoys the hell out of me, but I still play it anyway.
Forget about the reasons and the treasons we are seeking
Forget about the notion that our emotions can be swept away, kept at bay
Forget about being guilty, we are innocent instead
For soon we will all find our lives swept away

the worst was when a kid i know came back form the show i was at and said: "i loved when they played She said" as in ab intro. it really pissed me off for some reason.
"It was cold in the kitchen and the lights were low as winter slowly stumbled home, the air felt different and it started to show as every breath resembled smoke, i was short of opinions and i wanted to know if i'd see your face tomorrow,
'cuz it was cold in the kitchen and the lights were low as winter wrapped around CHICAGO"-UM

when you sit back and think, it is the most random name, but for some reason it just works perfectly. Same with the numbered songs, i mean #41, #34. Halloween,PNP, and granny are weird too, but work. too.

i have noticed it has horrible names.. has anyone else notcied that when you listen to an older album (UTTAD, crash, BTCS, etc...) compared to stand up... the huge diffference that jumps out is that the older albums are set up with everyone playing their part, that comes together to make one sound... where as in stand up, its like everyon is playing their own part seperatly and they just dont go together... just my opinion...

couldnt agree more. it sounds exactly like what they said batson would do. they would go in their own space, play and play and if they found something they liked, they would record it and keep it. it sounds like they just picked pieces from each person and tried to mold what they had played seperately together.

Yeh I was in a friends car one time and WAYG came on ... on his CD player it listed it as the title "Superman." That shit bugs me too. What bugs me more is when people sing the wrong lyrics to the songs. A have a friend who sings WWYS like "What would you say, I'm a monkey on a string, i've got a lifeline, like a doggy on a chain, don't hit the mailman, what would you say." I say, if you're going to butcher it, don't sing it at all.
