EW voted BTCS worst album of 1998??

Was reading this over at UFCK and it was pointed out that EW voted BTCS the worst album of 1998. I almost fell over in my chair, and from there my demeanor went to one of complete rage. I went to our lounge and grabbed a copy of EW and unloaded on it with my roommates full auto airsoft gun. Can you believe that, what the hell where those pussies thinking?????

It's the best album I ever heard. So there. Opinions aren't universal.

I personally am still learning alot about Dave, his guitar, and the whole band in general. I wasn't aware of how much Tim was involved on the studio stuff. As in, playing the parts that Dave wrote, as well as the ones that Tim normally does. But, this does sorta give me a look into why I seem to normally like the live versions of songs better. That, and because they're more evolved and seem to be more fre-flowing in my opinion.

But, to be more on topic. I never really liked EW as it is, so as far as I'm concerned, everyone invovled in the magezine can go jump off a cliff.

EW can go fuck themselves for calling one of the best CD's to come out complete garbage.... I don't know why this pissed me off so much.

You should probably chill. It's alright that some people don't share your opinion.

BTCS is great in mine, and obviously in yours, so who cares?

Not a lot of people liked the album. People bitched about last stop being played all the time, dreaming tree was boring, stay was too poppy, don't drink the water was shit. Most of the fan base hated it, look at the concert reviews of shows like 12-8 and 12-3-98. It didn't go over so well at first.

I guess it takes time to take in the new stuff, same happening with SU nowadays.

Perhaps in years to come (should there by any) it will be considered one of dmb's greatest work.

I doubt that, but it's a posibility.

I bet EW voted a BSB or Britney Spears album the best of 1998, which as we know, they both can DIAF.
