didn't like busted stuff? I thought bs had some really good material on there. everyday and stand up were definately flubs though. some devil was really good too, i mean, they still have something in them

Well, maybe Dave has some good stuff left in him (Some Devil was a solo album, not DMB). I really like Busted Stuff and Some Devil. I still think the band can produce something that's not shite, I think that was evidenced in their 06 tour (IOY, Shotgun).

I agree with that one. I think the best thing for the coming album would be to let the band do their thing. Not try to make them into some R&B or Rap band. Just let them be what they are... the Dave Matthews Band.

Good point. Batson is trying to mold and shape their music (at least on SU) way too much. Give Dave more creative control and let everyone work around him.

After everything that happened after that CD came out I never thought I would hear somebody say that and have it actually be kinda true. The one good thing about Everyday and Ballard was that he did not change the way the band actually wrote their songs, he just changed the way they sounded. He still let Dave do his thing and be the leader. The same can't be said for Batson so if you look at it from that perspective then I agree.

I dig Everyday for what it is, but not in comparison to the first three albums. There are some solid tunes on ED, mostly live any more though.

when the album came out, dave said, my long time fans will hate this album, but eventually they will love it. i thought he was full of shit. but now, i love 80% of the album. at least live i do. it's a good album, just not as good as its predecessors. in their current position, it'll be a step in the right direction

The only songs I like off of it live are So Right and Fool To Think.
