HAHAHA.... that was .....well GREATDmbFanJason wrote:thats what all my gang-bangin, rap-listenin friends say...."Whats the difference? Why don't you just buy one CD?"...I don't think you can appreciate the subtleties and intricacies of DMB, and what makes them one of the greatest bands ever with some of the most timeless music...you and Gcom need to go fuck eachother in the ass. When we start listing dates of certain versions etc., we know exactly what eachother are talking about. You're just out of the loop bra..fatjack wrote: when all you guys start listing these random dates, it just confusing as to how the difference between each version is really that noticeable. who cares if the 07-24-99 version of Ants Marching is better than the 03-08-95 version? its still the same damn song.
P.S. you and Gcom need to go fuck eachother in the ass.

i can appreciate the "intricacies," as you so call it, just fine. just because i dont want to bend over every time i hear DMB doesn't mean i cant appreciate their music.DmbFanJason wrote:thats what all my gang-bangin, rap-listenin friends say...."Whats the difference? the above post made little to no arguements against my case. you just made biased statements about why they are better and the most "timeless music ever". it does nothing more than to prove your obsesseion with DMB. and frankly, i dont wanna be in your loop if all that it requires is an unnecessary (and quite scary) knowledge of EVERY DMB show ever.
and DRJ07, dont roll your eyes at me until you listen to some different music.
mbgreen is the only one who responded that has any grounds for validity because he isn't completely obsessed with DMB, he is actually able to point out their flaws. he makes sense, but i still have to say that all these different versions are pointless when the song remains generally the same. i admit that the live versions of the songs that are actually released are pretty damn cool. like the guitar solo on Lie In Our Graves from Live in Chicago is amazing. but i usually listen to those versions because they have guests on them like tim or victor wooten. i could care less about the difference between that song played on a different date when it just the band.

sorry...I was wasted, bla.........dude....DMB definitely has flaws.....heh hem, cough...boyd. And Mbgreen is obsessed, you chump...I didn't mean that we know every single show, I meant that there are shows out there that each of us feel have something special about them, and we just want to share that. AND THEN....and ONLY THEN does the DMB CIRCLE JERK start...thank you very much.
