hey all - tryin to get my hands on the 2003 farimaid, but i cant get a connection with bittorrent - am i doing something wrong, or do i just have horrible luck and timing? i cant get anything for crashing the quarter either...

If you installed the BitTorrent 3.3 client , then just click the link of the Torrent file and it should ask you for a place to save the Torrent data , and then it should start downloading ....
Need a little more info here , does the download window popup ? Does it say " Connecting To Peers " ? Bit Torrent all depends on whether or not others have their windows open to share with others , if no one have a window open then it won't be able to get any data downloaded on your machine ....
If you're behind a firewall you might need to open up a couple ports for the data to go through

yeah i get the box up and all, it just never finds anyone, hence my thoughts on the horrible timing. im on a T1 through lan at school, but i dont think thats a problem cause kazaa works fine. does anyone have the farmaid show that they could put up so i can see if it works/download it? thanks guys

I have the Farm Aid show , but i don't have MakeTorrent or any other Torrent creation programs laying around at the moment ....
Also just because kazaa works doesn't mean Bit Torrent will , i doubt they run on the same port
