"best songs you've ever written?"bbatsell wrote:Whoa, this is really cool. You can totally read in Carter's face (and a little bit in what he says) how pissed he was about Everyday.

Yeah, I always thought that was kinda funny when Carter's asked about the songs on ED. What a blatent lie of a response! Of course, he's practically nowhere on that album...I can't blame the guy.

So is it Carter Bu-ford or Carter Bow-ford? I always thought it was the latter.whip3512 wrote:I've seen this before, but thanks for loading it man. Yeah I liked that too, was that charlie rose? Does anyone have the whole charlie rose special? yousendit?
I seen it at like 3am on a random night on TV a few years ago, no commercials, I loved it.
Yeah I think everyday went wrong with Ballard and this "professionalism" tried to make these amazing muscians into robots...they need to be spontaneous. But I'm sure there was millions of everyday threads so nevermind
I like the vid though

Yeah, I have started thinking this way too. Despite the obvious po(o)p direction of this cd there still managed to be some gems hidden in there. Once the band started getting out and playing these tunes and making them more of their own stuff it has really caught on.checkii wrote:i still dont think everyday was that bad. Think about how fast they wrote some of those songs and how damn good some of them are. There are a few stinkers, but a lot of great songs came out of it.
I Did It- the accousitc version on Lost accoustics is awesome
When The World Ends-very solid tune
Space Between, The-Lost accoustics version is awesome
So Right- I love this song.
What You Are- one of my top 20 favs. Lost accousitcs blows my mind. The band version is awesome as well
Fool To Think-one of my top 20 favorites. 10-24-02 is so sweet
Oh yeah I love everyday too
But its fair to say it isnt as emotional I guess, just something missing compared to the previous work.
