First off I wana say that your guitar skills are somewhat advanced. Your guitar playing is very close to dave's. The only thing you need to work on is your singing. Don't take this the wrong way but U SOUND LIKE A GIRL!!!! Dave does not sing anything like what your interpretations are. I'm sorry to put it so harshly but it is the truth. I'm not saying that your style of singing is bad but if you are going for the imitation of David J. Matthews for God's sake PUT SOME DAMN SOUL IN YOUR VOICE!!!! PLEASE!!!!!......Oh, and by the way I am the black baby jesus.....thank you and goodnight.....

well alright, let's here some of your stuff then. personally i think his voice is nice and he hits the notes quite nicely. not everyone here is trying to be just like dave matthews, and im glad that he sings with his natural voice because there are two things i cant stand in the world. people trying to sing exactly like dave matthews, and the bloody dutch.

a simple "it sounds like you need to put a little more "soul" in your voice or make it sound a little deeper", would have been more appropriate and less suppressive don't you think? something along those lines anyway...well, I guess thanks for taking a listen...peace.

I'm sorry if I came off a little abrasive there....I just think if you sounded a little more casual with your voice that you would sound far more superior...then again thats just my opinion....oh and by the way I am the ONE and ONLY black baby jesus....lataz....

If you've been around here for a while you know what I'm talking about. Dmbfanjason insults people left and right for stuff, and then posts TONS of his covers asking for people to say how great he is. If someone gives him a negative comment, he instantly gets all fussy.

Well, if I remember correctly, I think the "explain it to me as if I were a" part of it came from the movie Philadelphia starring Denzel Washington and Tom Hanks. You see, in the movie, Denzel would ask people to explain things to him as if he were a young child. He said it multiple times, each time reducing the age of the child that he would be and wants things explained to as if he was one. Does that make sense? It doesn't sound right after I read it, but I think you get the point.

The "retarded" part, well that's all me baby.
