Hey,
I was wondering if anyone knows of some good books/web sites to turn to for information regarding Audio Production/Engineering. I have a pretty good background in audio work; I worked at a radio station in high school and did some production work there, and I am currently hired by my University as an Audio Technician for music/theater performances. That being said, my workload is quite basic at those jobs, and I want to get more in depth. I am looking towards a career in audio, either doing live sound or in studio producing. Right now, I know a good amount, but I am looking for more information. Anyone know of any good books/web sites I could turn to? I am looking to transfer out of my University, and does anyone know of a school that offers a good Audio Production program that could get me started towards a career in Live Sound/Music Production?

Recording.org is a really good one, there are quite a few pros on there as well as home studio people.
As far as school is concerned, i'm not sure, but i think trade schools have really good programs for that, so you may not need a four year degree.
