This song has always been difficult for me. Its just shy of 2 minutes long, so give it a listen and let me know how it turned out.

What a hard song! Dude, this really did turn out great. I don't have the original at my disposal but from what i remember this sounds pretty dead on. I also like the reverb on the guitar, it's a nice effect and is suited well to the song. Very pleasant to listen to.

My only critique would be that sometimes the bass notes are a bit overpowering so try to EQ some of that out while at the same time boosting your treble.
Do I listen to pop music because I'm miserable or am I miserable because I listen to pop music?

Thanks man. It was a quick recording. I really want to redo this and add the piano, banjo and bass parts. One of my favorite songs of all time. I'll spend some time mixing the final product.

Sounded good. There's a couple of parts in there that need a bit more practice (mostly the 0:30 mark). But your fingerpicking parts (specifically 0:55) sounded great, which are the parts I have the hardest time with.

Since I play along with the ACL video when I play the song, I've pretty much got the whole song nailed down exactly except for the part where Paige does his little piano thing. I can still get through it, but usually mess a few notes up on that. I wish I could post mine, but I have no means of recording :(
