Alright here are 3 brand new originals all with lyrics.
Please give them a listen and post a critique, both good and bad.
Just be honest and don't be down right mean.

Enjoy!

Yeah man, it's definately not working on my computer. Just thinking though, I thought we had a huge boycott of NoWhere Radio because of an asshole. Am I wrong?

it wasn't a boycott, just a few people complaining. They don't host covers on their site, just original stuff like Eclectik posted.

sorry I can't listen to it man, no speakers for this old computer.
good, and you?

I guess so. I just read that whole post again. It's pretty funny. I can't believe winston actually took all that time to show how tiny his dick was. That is the right post isn't it. I think there were two or three others on there that had some issues that were similar to that. Or maybe it was...oh well, dunno. Need a beer.

Ok, I've only had time to listen to murky waters, so thats all youre gonna get for now. :)

First of all...your voice is fucking great. I like it a lot...sort of raspy, and you do a good job hitting your notes. Fits the mood of the song perfectly.

I dig the guitar style too...you get in a lot of the slaps/slides that a certain famous musicain does as well.

I see a lot of potential for a little jam in around that 2:15-2:40ish mark. As it is, it sounds a tad bit thin there, but with someone playing with you it wouldnt be a prob.

I've listened to this several times, TRYING to find something that needs work, but Im not hearing it right now. I'm liking it more and more each time. I'll give it another listen when I have some more time, along with the others, and see what I can come up with. The only really bad part about it are all the little "hiccups" throughout the song. I dont know if you were editing or what, but the skips get a little annoying. But if recording issues are your biggest worry, youre in good shape. :D

Ok, listened to all 3 songs. You have a great voice. Sounds A LOT like Dave's...so does your guitar sound. Nothing wrong with sounding like Dave of course :) Great voice though!!!! Overall, I think your stuff is great, but sounds A LOT like Dave Matthews...in fact if I didn't know any better, I'd think he wrote those tunes lol...I'm noone to judge, I can't write anything original myself, so I praise anyone that does! Overall, great work...but try to work on sounding more like...yourself.
What I want is what I've not got, but what I need is all around me.

Here is my honest(sometimes way too critical) opinion:

Murky waters- Well as it was said before, this sounds alot like dave. I personnaly would try to fix this. Your beat is the main thing that makes it sound very dave-esqe, really choppy. I would try to roll the pick and really strum on this song. Vocals and lyrics are great

riddled by legend- Good song, musically good, but the intro is a little long and might need something a little more. good overall

One Night- link didnt work

I am no one to critique, but you asked for it so I'll try. I would have to agree with the others that you're trying to sound like Dave way too much. It works for you, but I think it would be better sung in your own style. I also have to second the comment about the intro being a bit too long on rbl. Awesome songs though, just work on getting your own sound instead of attempting to be Dave all over again.

thanks for the reviews guys. I will take them into consideration.

Musically:
While some tunes may sound like dave, I do not believe One Night does. In defense some tunes get inspired from DMB while others are like One Night inspired from a local Salsa band called Sauce(they are talented check em out). But regardless it sounds different with my whole band but its noted that acoustically i need to get into my band's sound more and lose the dave.

Vocally:
Although musically i may agree with yall i must disagree with the vocals. To me dave represents everything that a vocalist should strive for. What i mean is a RANGE in vocals during the song and to sing with EMOTION. This last thing of emotion i strive for while i hear many locals and labeled musicians fail at this criteria.
while john mayer is a good guitarist he lacks real emotion in vocals but he has an amazing range! Unlike dave which has both...

Thanks again for the critiques and keep them coming!
As for Riddled by Legend this song is a few days old both vocally and music and as for the intro its still in development.

Cheers,
J.T.
