well, i was fooling around with my recorder, when I started playing this...I have worked on it for litteraly 5 MIN, so cut me a break...
I actually liked Jason's version SO MUCH, i thought i would put omething up here for "ma' brotha'"
this is in no way a competion with him...his version was better (at LEAT the verses/chorus) than I can play it...so, that being said, here is my improv i came up with while my mom was sending out E-mails (had to waste some time before getting back on here)...
have at it critics

sounds quite incredible, as usual. i love when you mellow it out a little after a minute, very cool sound. it might just be me, but one of your strings sounds a little out of tune. possibly the b string. but you did a lot of great stuff, and its mostly stuff that i can't do on the fly so i give you even more props. i love hearin stuff from ya.

firedancer, that was simply awesome, dude. you're a smooth little playa my friend. I say little 'cause you're six years younger than me!!
you didn't miss a beat on that jam. I love the harmonics, too.
Jason's gonna have a dump and a chuckle when he hears that. It's all good, though. we got some talent on these boards!!
good, and you?

a bender of what?
as far as the critiquing...you said that I played the verse better than you??? I didn't even hear a verse in your cover, nor a chorus....but anywho biddily boo.......at first, the jam was just like dave's except for one or two missing slides and notes....so thats always good.....after a few minutes it got a lot better...I liked the jamming a lot like in the middle to the end(not the part where it sounded like you were playing standard chords, the part right before that)....that jamming was awesome....but anyway, i didnt take a dump just yet because where is the rest of the song and singing...I personally like my little jam thingy better(the one a long time ago), but do what you will my brotha!
BTW...You have much higher standards because of your TS cover.

well thanks Jason...the reason I didn't sing, or do the rest is becausee of stinkin' STREP!!!
I have mentioned it a few times over the weekend, and had a fever last night of 104...
