2 new ones from 2M1D

Unread post by getoffmywalrus » Tue Aug 31, 2004 6:03 pm

Hey I just put up two new songs from my acoustic supergroup 2 Men 1 Desire.

Roses Are Red is a laid back tune with quite possibly the gayest solo ever recorded by anyone at the end.

Klamath Falls is a more serious song about Klamath Falls, OR. The main riff is kinda derived from about 4 Dave riffs all piled together.

Hope you check em' out and lemme know what you think!

not bad, vocals leave a little to be desired, but it's probably better than I could do, so who am I to say. Overall, I thought it was pretty good. One comment though, and I'm not trying to be an ass, but I don't really dig the name of you group. To be honest, I think it sounds a little homo-erotic...2 men 1 desire? God I'm an asshole.

Hey guys. Whoaa, big gulps huh? Alright... well, see ya later.

haha thanks for the edit dude.

The vocals are, I agree, not perfect but Daniel certainly makes up for what he lacks vocally with his passion and beautiful stage dancing (live DVD coming soon).

And as for the name...yea it's pretty gay. I guess it just compliments the nature of most our songs. I can assure you all though, we're both very straight.

Yeah, thanks for being cool about. They were actually pretty good, I think I'll give them a better listen in a bit. :)

well c'mon, no one can take themselves TOO seriously with a name like 2 Men 1 Desire.... I updated the site by the way, now there's a picture of us at our University Battle of the Bands.

The guitar sounds decent but as for the rest, I didn't enjoy in the least. The singer is pretty bad. Just bad. I listened to "Klamath Falls" and the lyrics are absurd and do not flow well at all.

Be excellent to one another.
