good work grave
you did a very good job of singing on this song, although sometimes you werent quite loud enough, not that im one to talk

a couple of timing mistakes, but barely noticeable, and other than that it was spot on
Everybody always asks me how she's doing. Has she really lost her mind? I said "I couldn't tell you, I've lost mine."

sounds fantastic, guitar is dead on and the sound of it is very soothing and relaxing. and of what i can hear of your voice, it sounds good as well, however it needs to be as loud as the guitar. i know that's a hard thing to do, because a guitar is a lot louder than a voice, but when i edit in cool edit pro, i set my guitar to about -10 Db and my voice at about +15 Db to try and equalize them a bit. now i don't know if you use cep, or any editing programs, but they can do wonders.

thanks for the feedback guys! yeah, my voice needs to be louder, and I'll try editing the volume on cool edit pro like you said, madtadder. I just recorded it all in one track, but next time I might try doing the guitar and vocals as separate tracks. by the way, I did listen to your songs you did, and I enjoyed them. your guitar playing is great - howcome you didn't enter the tripping billies contest??? anyway, that Ghost song is awesome! and you do a great job of it. anyway, thanks for the feedback, again.
good, and you?

i didn't enter the tripping billies contest because i didn't visit the boards all last week because i was recording like mad trying to make a cd of my playing/singing for my gf for valentines day, otherwise i probably would have. what i do is i record the voice and guitar seperately so that i can do the volume/effects seperately, because the reverb i want on my guitar wont always be the same thing i want on the voice. thanks for your comments on my playing, i've always enjoyed your guitar work so it means a lot.

P.S. You should download the real Ghost by Howie Day if you think my cover is good, the original is quite amazing and very chill.
