Bartender Cover

Unread post by Halcyon » Fri Aug 20, 2004 8:54 pm

Here be my quick cover of Bartender. Yeah...just did one run through for each track (2) so there are some mistakes, but I would like to know what you all think about it. Thanks for the listen.

Not bad...I thought it had sort of an "Ants" feel in some parts though.

definately a much different sound from the original (which is usually good). I thought the rhythem guitar was pretty good but rushed the tempo at time. The lead sounded just ok. I can't say i particularly liked it, but it still added a little. Good work though.

Thanks for the comments guys. I just did one run through for both tracks and didnt bother fixing any of the mistakes. Just got cool edit pro today so I wanted to lay down some stuff to see how it worked and to experiment. The lead guitar was really my first attempt at soloing and I know almost nothing about music theory (working on learning the fretboard) so I was just going by what sounds good (Hendrix style hehe). Thanks again guys.
