Taping live shows

Does anyone know the kind of equipment and the costs associated to be able to tape a live DMB show?

A good rig can run you up a few thousand. (2-4 grand)

Get a cd player... with a stereo connection. Walk up to front of house (FOH) and ask the guy if he will plug it into a spare matrix. He's using a Gamble Console... so he will have alot to spare. If he's nice he will say yeah... but he will say no if it's ILLEGAL. So is it ILLEGAL what you are asking?? Ponder Please

They don't allow soundboard hook-ups anymore because in the past, bootleggers would tape the show and then sell them for profit (because they were soundboard quality). Taping is still allowed but only via mic rigs. And yes, for a good rig it will run you a pretty penny. The 4-mic matrices are very nice at the moment, but they're quite expensive (as I'm sure you can imagine).
