How do I record crap?

Unread post by ericwormann » Mon May 03, 2004 7:04 pm

I've never recorded stuff to post here, but I'd like to learn how. I don't have a microphone or anything, just a guitar. Someone explain what I need to buy, what software I should use, etc. I'm cheap, so please give me the best inexpensive option. The pickup on my acoustic is crap, so let me know what sort of mic would be the best. And I'm a computer moron, so try to explain it to me like I'm a 6 year old. Thanks.

Just dl cool edit pro off of kazaa, if you need help someone will help you, and just buy a cheap $5 computer mic and youre good to go, unless youre trying to get real serious, but since youve never recorded anythign before Id imagine you wouldnt mind starting off cheap and seein if you want to buy more expensive options later

Random movie quote to make you seem hip and "with it": The food court is downstairs. The cookie stand is upstairs. It's not like we're talking quantum physics here.
