Like I said before, I listened to that song about 20+ times yesterday, and you do do it justice. That song is kinda like satellite, either you get it or you don't. But once you do, it sounds so cool and you don't wanna stop playing it. For those that haven't heard it before, listen to Caves first then dl the real version and you'll think he copy and pasted it.

I have never heard this song before, so I wouldnt know what to compare it to, but it sounded good...and bigspeen....is a "copying and pasting" cover a good one??? from these boards, I was under the impression that it was not such a good thing, but lack of creativity and originality...yea...ok..................

As far as a critique...the guitar didnt go off rhythm at all, and the vocals didnt go off key nearly as much...very good cover...prolly the best i have heard from the cricket

In the point I was trying to make, "copying and pasting", is a good thing because Mike asked Cave if he ever messes up and I meant that he didn't mess up. And he didn't copy and paste, I was overexaggerating at how he just threw the song together in 15 mins and it came out really good.

You guys would probably like "A Certain Shade of Green (Acoustic). It sounds a lot different from their plugged in version, and I like it more. I'll post a cover of that and some other stuff once I get my recording situation figured out. Does anyone know how to convert .aiff files to wavs on a mac. That would be a huge help if anyone did.

No kidding, I have mentioned that a few times on some other threads, but no on listens to me. I guess everyone hates me but I'm cooler than everyone so I don't care.

Yeah I was just messin, by kindoa newbie do you mean that in a sense that I don't post a lot, cuz I was one of the first people to join this site back in Oct. Also, my member number is #40, I think thats pretty cool. As for your questions about my question or something, I think it was someone else that asked.

Thats exactly how I feel right now. This whole weekend actually. I haven't done anything all weekend but play guitar and check these boards constantly. I think I've posted more this weekend than I have since I joined.
