My Newest Songs

Unread post by dmb3641 » Mon Dec 30, 2002 9:38 pm

Here it is.. give me feedback:

Oh I will drink you now
Like Gods gift you hung around
Don't fill it up
I only prey your
the one to drink me up

Its raining down on me
Raining down on me
Raining Down one me

I want to dance around
the world with you
So come join the
Celebration
Yes Celebrate
Until the

Rain comes down on me
Raining down on me

Second Song

I believe you saw me first
but know now I can see you last
Theres a place where we go
To see the stars
Like you are in my head
Its so grand to live under you

I wish I could not turn blue
Like lost kitty in my shoe
Until I find you

Your lost, lost, lost, lost
Come home baby
I miss you crazy
Lost, Lost, Lost

Lost is the way I found you
On til then did we come around
And flew to the shores up on
My heart once I knew
That life is new

Your lost, lost, lost, lost
Come home baby
I miss you crazy
Lost, Lost, Lost
Lost, Lost, Lost
Lost, Lost, Lost
Lost, Lost, Lost

Cry you girl in blue
See if you can color too
Will you see
Will you hear
How Oceans turned to clear

Lost, Lost, Lost
Cry again

give me feedback

While you did do it nicely, the first song seems like you molded JTR, I'll Back You Up and Two Step into one song. Don't know if that was on purpose or not. It really stuck out to me.

Peace.

I tried to edit it w/ the code function to make it line up but I guess your tab wasn't lined up to begin with....if you write it in notepad and then paste it(inside the code brackets), you will be able to have a nicely lined up tab....peace

it's still good. whether or not it's influenced from dmb. Good influence is nothing but good medicine. leads you forward and keeps you strong.

I just wrote a new one I am about to show my band:

Revolution
Its not green or black
Nothing will stop
Money up on top

With you she sees her
I see her with a sand hand
Doves fly away
Look over there

We as in you and I
Splash dreams swiftly
He will circle the globe
And find the softness again

Look over there
Why does she stare
Why does she stare
Look over there
Why does she stare

Please don't stare
No don't stare
Only he can see.....you

Try again
The path far west
Will bring my journey
In a full box of love

Look over there
Why does she stare
Look over there
Why does she stare
Stare to glare your stare to death
C-ya

Let me know I think it (lyrically at least) this could compete with some of Dave's songs...thanks

i read an article on led zepplin once, and jimmy page said that they plagarized a lot of their songs, although this stuff seems a little blatant.

The "Whole Lotta Love" lyrics were ripped off from some blues or jazz singer (I can't remember who though). I believe there was a lawsuit about it. I learned about it in my Music in Pop Culture class.

one more (must be a inspired today)

Color
Don't forget
The store needs you
I fly behind the truck

Look at the cat
He is no lover of travel
Could color find the wheel
Of your space

Will you eat with me
Will you find a bracket with me
Is Love more than her hair
Long and Frissy with blue paint

Look at the cat
He is no lover of travel
Could color find the wheel
Of your space

Don't forget to eat.....your love away

Ok I don't think it is very funny either...... Its not very easy to through out what you have written so people can just tear it apart.... If you don't like my songs fine.... If you have something to say fine.... just say it don't give me that crap.... u might not like my music but the 1000 people i played for the other night did
